2012 Resource Efficiency

Winner: FM Conway Ltd Asphalt Recycling Plant

Changing FM Conway's approach to road repairs to make them more sustainable has put the company at the lead edge of the industry. Their new asphalt plant in Kent allows the company to recycle and then supply an incredibly high percentage of its recovered asphalt from road improvements to other construction companies and own worksites - so reducing landfill, virgin aggregate and carbon footprint.
