CoTrain makes it easier for contractors to employ apprentices.  An innovative collaboration between regional partners, we undertake to share a commitment to long-term employment and boosting skills in an industry which still has a long way to go before it can boast a stable workload. CoTrain has been established in response to industry demand, as a way of providing construction contractors with an opportunity to meet local training obligations and to maximise additional training opportunities for apprentices.

CoTrain gives you the opportunity to take on an apprentice, even if you can't commit to the full two or three year duration.  We carefully select, employ and manage the placement of construction trade apprentices

Contractors benefit from:

  • the ability to fulfil contractual, planning consent or CSR obligations ... and win more work
  • apprentices that have already passed a robust selection process
  • apprentices supported by the very best training and with a strong desire to succeed
  • increased productivity of existing skilled craftsmen
  • the opportunity to add a fully-trained member to your workforce

CoTrain offers a simple solution to managing your apprentice workforce; mitigating risk; saving you time and money; and letting you get on with the job of running your business.
