Conference: Constructing the BIM Team

Constructing the BIM Team

Date:   Tuesday 9th September 2014
Time:   09:00 - 17:00
Venue:  Arora Hotel, Crawley

Attend this working conference to better understand how to improve efficiency at all stages of the building lifecycle - define, procure, deliver and operate.

Technology now provides all the information we could ever need - learn how to harness that power to deliver:

Through early engagement, integration, procurement on value, clear project briefs and fair terms you can build a team whose active involvement will deliver great value and assets fit for purpose.

BIM is the tool to bring the team together – find out how structured exchange of information brings benefits for all.

Learn from speakers from Local Authorities, the BIM Task Group, expert consultants and case studies; participate in working sessions to experience the power of collaborative working.

Who should attend:
From client to consultant to specialist contractor – the day has been organised to achieve maximum benefit. Two separate sessions for clients and industry will run in the morning, combining after lunch to share the benefits of collaborative working.
Put this date in your diary now.  Invite your clients - forward to your suppliers.

To book a place contact Julian@secbe.org.uk

Detailed programme below:  There is no charge for this event.

This conference brings together both client and supply side to look at the challenges and to find solutions collaboratively – specifically focusing on how BIM underpins culture and processes that bring benefits to all parties involved throughout the whole building lifecycle.

In the morning, two sesssions will run concurrently - one for clients and one for industry.  In the afternoon both groups will join together to understand each other's perspectives and experience the benefits of working better together.

Morning:   Session 1 - The client perspective
